About

The Middle Space is my coaching practice for women of colour leading change without losing themselves.

It brings together more than 20 years of my work across coaching, leadership, organisational development, equity and change, alongside the lived experience of navigating ambition, culture, responsibility, relationships and becoming.

I've spent much of my career alongside people doing hard things: leading, changing, deciding, building, stretching, questioning and figuring out what comes next.

Over time, I noticed something.

For women of colour, the things we’re trying to change is never the whole story.

There is the person carrying it. What she believes. What she values. What she has learned to protect. The expectations she is navigating. The people she is responsible to. The patterns that have helped her get this far, and whether they still serve where she wants to go.

That's the space I coach in.

Not separate from the realities of her life, leadership or culture, but right in the middle of them.

I know something about that story.

And I know I'm not the only one.

The Middle Space is what has emerged from bringing those threads together: a place where women of colour can lead meaningful change, pursue what they really want, and become more of themselves in the process, not less.

Who gets to shape change matters.

And so does who we get to be while we're shaping it.
